Lace-on Hawser Floats
Lace-on hawser floats mainly use for the buoyancy support of hawser or mooring ropes. The flexible floaters consist two layers high abrasion resistant nylon fabric, with which 100% closed cell polyethylene foam block inside. In addition, welding seam separate the independent pockets, in which embed some foam block. The closed cell PE foam also cannot absorb water. In order to connect the round hawser, it equip high quality eyelets around the floaters.
Along the length of the Mooring Hawser evenly spaces Lace-on floats. It aims to provide sufficient reserve buoyancy to enable it to float. Skins are double-layered heavy-duty nylon fabric to resist tearing & abrasion and colored orange. Each stitched pocket encloses flexible water resistant closed cell polyethylene foam. Nylon thread and high-quality eyelets will help to to resist tear-out. Sizes are dependent upon the type of rope in use as description.
